Santion Hiekat - Cottage in a small Island - Etelä Suomi - Finland

Santion Hiekat is a full equipped 80m2 holiday cottage with 3 bedrooms (for 2 persons each) and a hutkitchen. Two more persons can sleep in the sauna building.

From the beach of our cottage, you will see the surrounding islands and the Suomenlahti. The coast guards have a radar station on the isle.

Built in 2002, the main building has all the necessary comfort: electricity, wood and electic heating, shower, WC, fridge, heat storing fireplace, electric stove, microwave oven set of dishes , dishwasher , coffee-maker TV, vcr, washing machine.

A sauna in a separate building, the dock and a rowboat are at disposal.

Activities and attractions nearby:

Swimming in the sea, fishing, visiting the nearby islands (natural reserves nearby), beach at disposal (180m of private coast-line). Wood heated sauna (4-5 persons at a time max) in a separate building.

Directions:

Santion Hiekat is located on the small island of Santio, in the east Suomenlahti, near the Russian frontier.

Santio is located at 1,5km at sea, so it is recommanded to have your own boat. If necessary, a transport from the coast to the island can be arranged (contact us for more informations).

Rates:

90 euros for one night.

200 euros for a week-end.

500 euros per week.

Meals:

Self catering. Please notice that you will be living on a small island with only cottages and no commercial buildings, so you will have to come with your own food (fully equipped kitchen with fridge at disposal).
