Welcome at the « Four de Vaux » castle, XIX century castle near the dukedom city : Nevers in Burgundy.

Ideally located in the Loire valley between the Pouilly sur Loire vineyards, Sancerre and the Magny cours race circuit, we invite you to experience in the 5 hectares grounds and the elegant bulding, a relaxing and exiting stay.

The refined bedrooms and the lounges are opened to you to make you life as a lord of the manor in a complete restored decor. Let’s explore the grounds to discover the pond, the vegetable garden, the chapel, for a nature feeling throughout the hundred year old trees..

The jaunt will allow you to fully take advantage of your stay suggesting ideas of week end and visits around the vineyards, the meal pleasures or golf. The activities nearby the castle, will give you a good insight of the treasures of the surrounding region : flying over castles and remarkables conservation area, from the « Charité sur Loire », clunisien monastic city referenced at the mundial heritage up to the wild lake area of Morvan, to discover the « Pouilly sur Loire » and « Sancerre » vineyards and full of other ideas to pause for a while.

How to go there:

Coming from the north, on the A77 motorway, take exit number 32 for Varennes-Vauzelles ZI, Garchizy, Fourchambault. At the 1st roundabout at the exit of the motorway, take the 3rd exit towards Vernuche. Continue 800m and arrive at Stop. Turn right. Continue 300m and turn left, continue 300m to next roundabout and take 1st exit towards Four de Vaux. Continue 2.3km, the entry to the château is on your right.

Coming from the south, on the A77 motorway, take exit 32. At the first roundabout near the exit, take the 3rd exit towards Varennes-Vauzelles ZI. Drive 300m towards the next roundabout and take 3rd exit towards Vernuche. Drive 800m and arrive at Stop. Turn right. Continue 300m and turn left, continue 300m to next roundabout and take 1st exit towards Four de Vaux. Continue 2.3km, the entry to the château is on your right.
