La Rochelière

Near the church of Vouvray, La Rochelière is a traditional 1800's residence. It proposes, downwards remarkable staircases opening on the principal court, a superb "dependance" which shelters a charming Bed and Breakfast with 4 rooms and a troglodyte room "La Cave" is "in the rock" with an entrance from the terrace of the main building. The rooms have each a bathroom with WC. A living-room with TV, sofa, computer and touristic information is entirely dedicated to the guests. The private swimming pool of the owners is also at disposal.

Our rates vary from 75 to 130 € per night (all taxes included) depending on the room and the number of persons. Visit our website for further informations.


Meals:

Breakfast is included in the room rate. For your dining needs, you will find nice restaurants in the village of Vouvray at a maximum of 10 minutes walk from La Rochelière. You will find typical French Brasserie-type restaurants, a pizzeria and a fine-dining place. Of course, the restaurants of Tours and Amboise are not far away either...


How to go there:

The village of Vouvray is located at 9km of Tours, 230km of Paris. By car: From Paris, take the highway A10 in direction of Bordeaux. Just before Tours, take the exit number 20 (Saumur, Blois, Vouvray). Continue on the N52 in direction of Vouvray. Change for the N152, direction Rochecorbon-Vouvray. In Vouvray, go to the church, La Rochelière's gate is the blue one just at the right side. By railways: From Paris Montparnasse and the international airport of Charles de Gaulle, as well as from Lille Europe (Eurostar connexion to London Waterloo) you can join the station of Saint-Pierre des Corps by the TGV fast train (55 minutes from Paris, 1h25 from the airport, 3h from Lille). Saint-Pierre des Corps is located at 8km of La Rochelière and you will find there taxis and a car rental office. You can also join the Tours railway station. The city busses of Tours come to Vouvray's village (lign 61). By airways: You can land directly to Tours airport from London (Ryanair) or Lyon. For more air connexions, you can use the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris and the TGV.
