The Romantik-Hotel 'Zum Stern' is one of the oldest guest houses of Hesse. At the former stagecoach station you can feel 1000 years of living history, since 1874 is the hotel managed by the family Kniese. To be guest at the Romantik-Hotel means to enjoy perfect and individual hospitality. Surrounded by the old town of Bad Hersfeld we combine historical ambiance, modern comfort and cordial hospitality.

For events we offer individual equipped function rooms for up to 80 persons. The hotel offers a multiplicity of wellness and relaxing facilities like sauna, infrared cabin, steam and aroma bath, swimming pool and a body & face studio. On request we would like to organize literary walks, guided culinary city tours, bicycle and paddle tours, excursions to the Wartburg castle and a lot of other sights. We are also the perfect basis for golf tourists, 4 different golf courses are just 20 km away.
