From its commanding position close to the organised beach (just 50m.), the majority of the bedrooms have a marvellous Ocean or Mountain View. The island’s longest beach is just a stone’s throw away and around the corner you will find numerous restaurants with excellent cuisine and anything else you can expect to find in a highly developed tourist resort. As all of the rooms have a balcony, you can either sit there and enjoy your breakfast or go to the yard to the nice café-bar, where you can design your breakfast after your personal taste. If you feel like shopping, the hotel itself is situated in the village centre, where you can find everything you need.
Aegina is the nearest island to Athens and famous historical sites and monuments, such as the Acropolis, Delphi, Corinth Canal, are within easy reach. Hotel Karyatides is situated only 20min.-30min. by taxi/bus/car from Aegina’s port, where daily transportation to and from Piraeus (the port of Athens) takes place from. For local sightseeing, the 5th century BC Temple of Aphaia, an interesting ancient monument with wonderful views over the Saronic Gulf, is only 2 km. away.
