Dundrum House Hotel

Dundrum House Hotel - Hotel
Dundrum . Dundrum Ireland

An elegant 18th century manor house, set in the Golden Vale and close to the Rock of Cashel with leisure and health facilities and an 18-hole championship golf course. Dundrum House was purchased by Austin and Mary Crowe in 1978 and opened as a hotel in 1981. Substantial and sensitive restoration of the manor house has been complemented by the construction of a White Flag award winning health and leisure club and a wonderful 18-hole championship golf course designed by Ryder Cup hero Philip Walton.
The impressive manor is nestled in the fertile Tipperary countryside, surrounded by 40 hectares of grounds and gardens with the River Multeen running through the property. Originally built as a residence by the Earl of Montalt, it was used as a convent school before being transformed into a hotel. It is furnished with assorted heirlooms, vintage curios and Victorian pieces. Hospitality at this hotel draws on years of experience. Throughout your stay, be assured that every consideration and every detail is attended to with your comfort and enjoyment foremost in mind. Open log fires greet guests on chilly spring and autumn evenings and the bar, with its beautiful stained glass windows, is the perfect meeting place for guests, golfers and hill walkers. Dundrum House Hotel and Leisure Club is an excellent base for exploration, with as many as 252 castles and heritage houses in its surrounding countryside.
