Located in the green, peaceful and open countryside of the Ticino Park, yet only 2.5 Km from the famous ancient city of Pavia, Bed & Breakfast "Vecchio noce"offers hospitality and comfort in an old country house at the triangle formed by the joining of Po and Ticino rivers.

Available from April first to October 31th:
1 room with 2 single beds, 1 room with a twin bed sharing bathroom and shower, a large garden and a small swimming pool. Bikes (to rent) to be used if you wish to reach Pavia pleasantly and move in the historical center without parking problems.
The rooms have an independent entrance, are comfortable and and are furnished in country-style. For animal lovers there is a friendly cat and two gentle dogs.

Pavia (the ancient Ticinum) is about 35 Km. from Milan. The old city center can easily be covered on foot: walking along the streets and squares, you can see the architectural sights from centuries and centuries of history. From the Roman Era to the Middle Ages, from the Visconti and Sforza eras to the Renaissance, from Neoclassicism to Liberty style.

Pavia was defined in the past Centium Turrium for the presence of the ancient towers that conferred to the town the noble and cultured appearance,thanks also to the sixteenth century and renowned university.

Visit the Church of San Pietro in ciel d'Oro, typical example of romanica construction, theTheater Fraschini, the Basilica of San Michele, one of the monuments most important and one of the masterpieces of the romanica architecture, the Church of San Teodoro as well as the ancient University.

Visit also the the Cathedral, begun in 1488 and finished towards the end of XVI century, the Church of Santa Maria in Betlem, the Castle Visconteo, raised in 1360 and the Broletto palace.

Finally, we recommend you visit also the wonderful Certosa di Pavia, 5 km outside the city, which was built around 1396 on the wishes of Gian Galeazzo Visconti, Duke of Milan.
