We are a small and friendly, family run B&B, located 35 miles (57km) SW of Turin, between Pinerolo and Sestriere ski resort. Nestled in the alpine forest at 1,100m (3,600ft), Bella Baita has a spectacular panoramic view of the nearby French border that is not to be missed. All five of our cozy rooms have their own private bathrooms and entrances. Our reasonable rates include our ample home made specialties to start your day off right. Other memorable meals or self catering available on request. All levels of walking and cycling are just outside your door, with rock climbing nearby.

How to go there:

From Torino, take the SS 23 exit to the right for Pinerolo and Sestriere. Stay to the right, going past the Total petrol station and on towards Pinorolo, but skirting around Pinorolo. Continue towards Sestriere between two Tamoil petrol stations, passing Carrefour shopping center on your right. Continue thru the towns of Porte and Villar Perosa to Dubbione (di Pinasca). A bit further on your right, you should see a yellow museum “Abitare in Valle”, with the clock tower of the church just ahead in sight,. About 200 meters (600 ft) from the museum, there is a sharp right turn, into Ugo Palaosso, between two buildings with a blue crosswalk and Bella Baita sign at the turning. Just ahead the road splits onto Vittorio Emmanuelle, up to the left towards Serre Marchetto, and Grandubbione. The road winds upward for about 6 km up to Bella Baita. If you have not begun to head back down hill, you have not passed us! Do enjoy the scenic ride up, and do not give up too soon!
From France’s Savoy region, via Briancon and Frejus tunnel, head toward Sestriere and take SS 23 toward Pinerolo. About 1/2km past Perosa Argentina, you will see a yellow Api petrol station on your left. Another 150 m further there will be a pale yellow church and just a bit more Ugo Palaosso will be on you left. Continue with the other directions up.
