Located in the heart of Venice, in the Ghetto Square, the Locanda offers a characteristic and welcoming atmosphere.

In December 2001, Venice celebrated the grand opening of a new hotel called Alloggi Locanda del Ghetto, located directly underneath the "Schola Italiana" in the Campo del Ghetto. The building dates back to 1400 but was restructured in 1500 in order to build the synagogue and some of the rooms have preserved the original decorations on the ceiling beams. The building was radically refurbished to make it as comfortable as possible for guest stay. Work on the atrium in the lower floor were completed in March 2002, and were designed with spacious and comfortable public areas, an Internet centre, lift, outdoor patio, and boat landing.
