Bed & Breakfast and more, in a charming country house, with flower filled patios, large garden, splash pool and beautiful mountainous surroundings. The tiny hamlet of Valenzuela offers the perfect retreat, yet there’s a lot to see and enjoy nearby. Picnics, meals, wine and beer are optional extras at Casa Catherine. Cycling, (bikes available) walking, the outdoor natural spa, bars and restaurants are all enjoyable pursuits in the locality.
Twin and double rooms are available, all with ensuite shower rooms. The furnishings have been carefully chosen to reflect the typical Andalucian character of the house and to ensure compete comfort for our guests. Each room has a CD player. A television and DVD/ Video player, along with a choice of films, is available on request.
Fans, heating and towels are provided and fresh coffee and a selection of teas are available in each room. Children are welcome and a folding bed or cot can be provided for a child or third adult.

Casa Catherine is ideally situated for discovering many of the delights that Andalucia has to offer. You can relax right here, enjoying Casa Catherine and the lovely countryside around, but you’ll find that within easy driving distance you have a fantastic choice of places to visit. You could go site seeing and shopping in Granada, relax in the hot spa at Alhama de Granada, wander round the Moorish quarter of our nearest town, bird watch, stroll along the river to the bar or visit Antequera and its many ancient churches and monuments.
Lake Bermejales, set in delightful scenery, is just 20 minutes away. It’s shore is lined with pine woods, so offers sun and shade – perfect for picnicking, or dining in the nearby restaurant. The coast with its choice of eateries, beach and nightlife is 55 minutes drive away.

Malaga Airport – 75 minutes drive approx.
Car hire is ideal for full enjoyment of the local scenery, but there are local bus services to the coast, Granada, Alhama de Granada and Loja.

Meals:
A choice of hot cooked or continental breakfast is included in the room price. Picnic lunches can be provided and food is available in the evening. An 'honesty bar' stocked with beer and wine, is available.
