Casa Gustavo is a converted 500 year-old farmhouse now run as a small, informal guesthouse in the spectacular Picos de Europa. Your hosts are an English family with a wealth of information available to guests. Most of the rooms are en-suite, there is a sitting-room with balcony, maps, books and a vine-shaded courtyard for summer evenings. There is fantastic walking on the doorstep and all manner of mountain activities close by.

Rates:
Bed and breakfast rates from 22 euros to 34 euros per person. Special rates for children, large groups of adults and long stays.
Meals:
Three course dinner including wine, 20 euros. All meals are home-cooked using local produce with lots of vegetables. Vegetarian and other special diets catered for.
How to go there:
From Santander, motorway to Unquera, then N621 through Panes and the Desfiladero de La Hermida (a stunning gorge). After passing through Tama, 200m after the church Aliezo is signposted, turn left up hill.
