Rue d'Italie 1 1800 Vevey Switzerland  The Hotel du Lac, built in 1868, was entirely restored in 2006. Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, the hotel staff offer a charming and personalized welcome. The rooms are designed with all the modern day comfort. The elegant atmosphere of the hotel reminds you of a noble manor designed for your needs. The tradition of Swiss hospitality has been put into place through its refined cuisine, elegant decoration, attentive services, meticulous garden and buzzing terrace.The whole hotel was completely renovated in 2006 by the famous architect Pierre-Yves Rochon. Free access to the Spa Amaryllis is available daily from 06:00 to 22:00. The spa includes excercising machines and sauna. Massages need to be booked in advance. There is also free access to the outdoor swimming pool from Mid-May to Mid-September. Non-smoking floors are available as well as free cable internet access in all rooms. There is a Swisscom Hotspot with wireless LAN available throughout the whole hotel. Rates start from CHF 5 for 30 Minutes. There is a Baby sitter service also available at the hotel. Prices start from CHF 18 per hour per child. Baby beds and cots are also available. The hotel also provides complimentary daily international newspapers, overnight shoe cleaning service and use of the public transportation.
