Mountview Guesthouse

Mountview is a lovely late Victorian modernised house in a quieter area of North London. It has been restored in keeping with its original character. The interior has been painted and decorated using carefully chosen natural materials creating a balanced and harmonious environment with a modern uncluttered feel in mind to give you a comfortable and luxurious stay. The furnishings are of a very high standard and the sheets are 100% white cotton. The location is ideal for visitors because it combines tranquillity and the gentle pace of village life within easy reach of central London. A quite haven after a busy day sight seeing.

Meals:

A choice of English or Continental breakfast is served in the welcoming dining room, which overlooks a beautiful garden.

A typical menu also includes fruit juice, a variety of cereals, tea and fresh coffee with toast, cheeses, a choice of jams and marmalade, and of course bacon, eggs and sausage. We also have a vegetarian option: mushrooms, baked beans and eggs.



In our local area of Crouch End, there are restaurants of every type and a variety of cafés and pubs. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and, in general, the prices are lower than those to be found in Central London.




How to go there:

Within walking distance is Finsbury Park underground station. This is on both the Piccadilly and Victoria lines with fast direct services (every 3 minutes) to most tourist sites and shopping areas in London. On arrival at Finsbury Park Station take the exit for 'Wells Terrace'. Guests can phone us from the station and will be collected with their luggage.
Finsbury Park station is about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus. Busses W3 and W7 run every 5-7 minutes and are in public transport travel zones 3 to 4.
We collect guests from the station with their luggage upon arrival.
