Mardale Inn is a cosy, entirely non-smoking 18th Century Inn tucked away in the small and pretty village of Bampton, in the Lake District National Park near Haweswater. This is a relaxing, tranquil location.

The pub boasts wooden beams, a log fire and a warm welcome. Real ales and over 45 malt whiskies are available; and home made food is served, taking advantage of the delicious local Cumbrian produce. Mardale Inn is listed in the Good Pub Guide and features in the Good Beer Guide 2006. Awarded Cask Marque for quality ales. The three recently refurbished bedrooms have been awarded AA 3 diamonds.
