Situated on the A709 4 miles from Dumfries and 8 miles from Lockerbie at Junction 17/18 on the M74 motorway it is an excellent base for exploring the south west of Scotland. It is also convenient as a stopping off point either going to or coming from Stranraer being 2 miles off the A75 on the a709. The Hotel offers a varied range of accomodation from single to double, some of which include an extra single bed, to the popular Family room which can sleep two adults and up to four children. And still leave space to relax. The Restaurant is fast becoming the place to eat for quality food in the Dumfries area and the bar menu is also extremely popular.
