Now a Grade ii listed building, the hotel is back in private ownership.We have 41 non-smoking bedrooms and our high standards and attention to detail ensures your stay with us will run smoothly in an atmosphere of caring tranquility. The Avonmouth boasts magnificent views of the Christchurch Estuary, Mudeford Quay and Hengistbury Head. Its location, in its own extensive grounds on a quiet area of the waterfront, is ideally suited for easy access to all parts of Christchurch and the many places of interest in the surrounding area. For the energetic, sailing and windsurfing are popular in the estuary and make a perfect spectacle for the more relaxed to watch on a pleasant summer afternoon. The New Forest and many places of cultural and historical importance in the local area ensure that there is something not far away to captivate all our guests, whatever their interests. Whether you join us here to enjoy a peaceful break beside the water, come to stay on business, or letting us host a business or social function, our aim is always to be helpful, attentive and above all, friendly.
